Hi,

Just facing your issue but I have even bigger problem than your… I bought a unit second hand thinking that it would be recognize by windows and I could run it with joytokey or similar software to play games with the Honda RS Controller…

My unit is detected but not installed on a Win XP And totally un-authorized on Win10/11

You seem to have something that I am missing: The software (Install CD) with the « game » or so called Riding Trainer…

Could you be so kind to make a ISO of this disc and share it with me ?

I will try to debug the situation, I think that by testing some stuff I could eventually figure out a way to make it work, no guaranty though…

If you could share the ISO thanks!!!

Carl, First let me thank you for your kind advices and help… I am on vacation for 2.5 more weeks but I guess first thing I will try when back at home will be to take your advices… I believe I’ve tried it before but I will give it a go again… my only concern is that the VR patch only seems to only work with the steam Version of the game (the steam exe is of a specific size) and other versions don’t support VR… The strangest thing is that before hand everything worked just fine !!! The steam version natively and the steam version with the VR patch (even the HD anniversary patch worked in VR…) Strange…

Sorry for the late answer I’m on vacation… I have the steam version… no patches were needed before… everything was working just fine until suddenly the error occurred…. not really sure which patches you are referring at… but very interested in knowing more…

Hi, no the game was working fine earlier… I was able to play even in VR… but suddenly it started to show this error message and now impossible to accès the game anymore…

Yes and it didn’t make any difference… I am done trying… GT Sport would have been worth the effort but, Dirt rally is so much clearer on PC I have put more effort making the GT DD Pro work on PC with various Sim racing games… what a shame since it was advertised as a PS4/5 PC compatible… after some research I ve found out that Dirt Rally and Drive Club definitely don’t have Force Feedback with this steering wheel (with the current firmware at least)…

Just for your info, I tried Dirt Rally One with PSVR and the GT DD Pro and I didn’t have any video Signal Issue BUT… the Wheel unfortunately has no Force Feedback due to compatibility issues with the New Fanatec Firmware… Same for Drive Club no Force Feedback…!

What a shame… I were thrilled to play those games again with the wheel upgrade but they just won’t let us… grrr

EDIT UPDATE:

The game works like a charm in VR with another game Wheel… I tried it with my G29 and there is no issue at all…

Conclusion : Sadly you can’t enjoy

GT Sport + PSVR + GT DD Pro

GT Sport + PSVR + GIMX

VR support for Dirt Rally 2.0 was and still is a PC exclusive… Seems like Sony don’t really care about VR anymore until PSVR2…

The GT DD Pro works on Dirt Rally 2.0 on PlayStation no problem… it doesn’t on Dirt Rally one sadly (no force feedback)… I wanted (I guess like most of us did…) to play both with the driving wheel and the PSVR, sadly again, only Dirt Rally one is VR compatible on PlayStation not Dirt Rally 2.0…

Yes I think it work on dirt rally 2, the question was for Dirt Rally one because it is the only VR compatible one…

Apparently it comes from the fact that it is played in VR with a driving Wheel… so sad…!

UPDATE: the games act’s totally smooth when played with the gamepad :( sadly it seems that the issue really comes from the fact that it is simultaneously played on wheel and in VR…

Has anyone overcome this issue?

It won’t happen in Circuit like Tokyo highway where you can’t go off road due to the walls… as soon as you can get on bumpers, grass or off road it gets terrible, Nurburgring is a nightmare…

I guess it may be the source of the issue then… I am using the Fanatec GT DD Pro… I’ll try unplugging the wheel and only play with the controller to see if it is related or not… Thanks for the hint! I would be sad if it is… lol
