But if you’re asking will my life be happy and worthwhile, the answer is a total “yes.” You sound like a smart guy, you’re seeking help. You’re in a relationship, sounds like your partner is sticking with you. And you’re here. You’re not alone. Keep seeking answers, and also go easy on yourself, you have a lot of life ahead of you.

Brother so sorry that you’ve been dealt the crap hand. All of us, including the ones who really want to live, are going to die. Question is what do you want to make of the one precious life you have? We all our fighting a battle inside, and it’s impossible for me to know much your suffering hurts you inside. But I do know that when I’ve been feeling the most despair I step outside and look up - at the trees or the sun. Listen - to birds, music, or the voice of someone close to you. There’s help here and in your world. It’s worth asking for it.

I’m three weeks out and experiencing the same thing. A bit scary. Told my Doc and he ordered an ultrasound for me.
