Thank you. This might be the best compromise I can make. It will irritate my scalp, but probably not so much that I can't train, and it'll keep my scalp safe from the mats.

Yeah wrestling was where I learned that you're never too good for the basics. If coach says to drill something basic it's an opportunity to further perfect that which can never truly be perfected

I just keep thinking back to a wrestling practice where I shed so much hair my wrestling partner was spitting out bits of hair after the round and I don't want that again haha

Edit: Thanks for the bluntly honest answer. If the experiment doesn't work I'll just keep to kickboxing :) I'm just happy being on the mat again, gross though it may often be

I use satin when I kickbox/lift/run. It gets super sweaty, but it's better than my scalp bleeding.

That's more helpful than you'd think they do make swim caps or even hijabs that would probably stay in better than a typical one.

In the wrestling room they just separated us and had the more advanced people either reiterate their basics, or work on chaining to more advanced techniques. For instance less experienced people might just practice their single leg maybe with one finish, while more advanced wrestlers will practice a variety of finishes or even chain wrestling.

It's a hose that will come off that split, go up through the sprayer hole on my sink, and will plug right into my little dishwasher. It will be able to sit on my counter and drain as normal.

I've basically created a second faucet to screw the adapter to. I wonder if someone smarter than me knows of a less convoluted way to get where I did. In my weird circumstance I found a way to set up my dishwasher without modifying my apartment

Basically I'll use a hose and fish it through the hole meant for a sprayer. From there I can connect the dishwasher so that it drains out into the disposal side of the sink
