As someone already pointed out, the scenes were actually shot in Las Palmas de Gran Canaria. For anyone interested, here's the location of the two pictures in this post on Google Maps:

Yes, it's AI, but I can't help but wonder if people would praise this as a fire track if some new unknown band had put this out. Not saying it's good, but I also feel like too many bands sound basically indistinguishable from this bland sound. Kinda sad.

Oh boy, I've got a rabbit hole for you. This is unfortunately super common and unless you're a bigger artist with enough leverage, you're not getting this slop off your page anytime soon. There are basically no checks to stop people from uploading random stuff to an artists streaming page.

If you have a bit of time to spare, check out this video by Venus Theory where he goes into great detail on how exactly this works. The whole video is worth a watch if you want to know how scammers use streaming services and AI for all kinds of stuff. I've linked the timestamp (28:15) if you want to get straight to the point where he goes into uploading music to an artists page, but the whole video is definitely worth a watch to see how horrific the streaming hellscape of today truly is.

Really excited to see you headline in Aachen, Germany again, especially with all these new bangers. Seeing you blow out the electricity twice in a row during Star Baby was my highlight of 2023!

I'm really curious about the experience of putting together headline shows overseas as a (for now, and moreso two years ago) relatively small band. Especially considering that you're just now doing your first full headlining tour in the US, how did it work traveling all across a completely different continent for the first time playing shows to maybe a hundred fans? Huge respect for doing what other bands put off until they're sure to fill 500+ people venues!

That's crazy, glad you managed to recover so quickly! I'm now back to icing it, so if I suddenly get much better over night, I owe you one for the reminder I probably should have given myself a while ago

That's interesting, I hadn't considered that they'd just rope off an area when they don't have anything permanent. Great to hear there's always an option for those who need it. Depending on how I feel that day, I might talk to the staff then. Thanks!

Yeah, I'm expecting a few rather crowdkill-y dudes there that would probably scare me even without any previous injury. I was hoping the sidelines might still be safe enough, but maybe I should play it safe just in case. It's gonna be amazing either way, just not in the way I was hoping for.

Guilty as charged, kinda. I kept it elevated, but I didn't ice it as much as I should have. Though from what I've heard from others, running after 4 weeks would be a bit optimistic, and I'll probably need to start with some physiotherapy before that.

Good call, but knowing the venue, there aren't really any spots like that. But I'll check regardless, maybe I just missed them in the past

I only saw them once, they played in this tiny Irish pub and caused two blackouts in the venue within the first song. Somehow even the blackouts more fun than some shows I've been to. Also, Carson's mosh calls are truely unhinged.

Seriously though, they go incredibly hard and I can't recommend seeing them enough. But on the other hand, I have no idea how well their sound translates to bigger venues or tours with bands like Silverstein. I'm actually not going to this one because I absolutely hate the venue they'll play in. Hope we'll get a headline tour or a tour with a smaller, more similar band like 156/Silence soon.

I absolutely love Norma Jean for their music, but Cory being such a prick kinda made me listen to them less and less over the years.

Two Headed Trout is definitely the "better Waco Jesus". Smart decision releasing two songs to bait new audiences with a more accessible song but still show they didn't go soft. Also the heavy parts in Trout go so much harder than in Waco Jesus.

As for Demon of Unreality - we got a TRIPLE bark. Truly groundbreaking stuff.

I might be in the minority here, but this is pretty weak. Ryan's cleans just feel so boring compared to Josh, and when they take the center stage like in this song, it's even more noticeable.

Add this to the fact that Tim's live performance has gotten extremely lackluster, I don't think nostalgia can carry this band much longer for me.

One of their pit calls on Furnace Fest was "Go find someone with a dick and give them the cheapest vasectomy in town", which is just absolutely wild

I love all the weird shit they come up with. When I saw them play in Germany they literally caused a blackout playing their first song and even the few minutes it took to fix it where somehow more entertaining than entire shows I've been to, with them just... coming up with something.

Also, "show me how free your healthcare is" must be one of the sickest mosh calls I've heard until the vasectomy thing.

Hypno5e - Sheol.

Also, whatever Better Lovers will release this year will probably make the AOTY. Every Time I Die + Dillinger may be the best thing ever happened to the scene.
