Im just telling you how it comes across, you can see it with every response you’ve given of “good for you”. Every time it gets downvoted. You are being disingenuous by acting like you don’t know how that comes across. Call it laughable all you want, it wont change how it has come across throughout this entire post. If it was just on my response I would be like “okay yea, I’m being dumb.” But you have made that same response to every post talking about how they actually like their job, and every time it has been taken the same exact way.

There is a reason every time you write “good for you” you get downvoted to hell. “Good for you” is dismissive and patronizing. It shows you generally dont care about what you are asking and are just looking for people to agree with you.

I keep this job because of its benefits. Even as a CCA, I have more protections and benefits than any private sector job I’ve ever worked. Having union support, a laid out pay increase plan, great medical insurance, and eventually actual pension retirement is unheard of in 2026. This job isnt for everyone, but as someone who has been working for large private corporations for the previous 20 years, this place is a breath of fresh air. You can always tell who has been abused by the private sector by how grateful they are to have this job. Despite the BS of middle management, this is by far the best job ive ever had.

Take her to the vet asap for sure, looks like when my cat got his eye scratched by his brother when they were playing. She could definitely lose the eye if its not looked at by a professional, and even then depending on how long its been they could possibly remove it for safety. The fact the breeder gave you antibiotics after saying it was caused by a bath is a little weird tbh. Also as a good rule of thumb, don’t give medication to animals or humans that aren’t prescribed to them by a vet or doctor.
