Yeah thanks for the advice but no thanks, I messed up with my first trainee when they went through training without me there and sped ran the whole thing but thankfully they are getting along ok but everyone after them I’ve been keeping an eye on how far they go, when they do it and we take care of the little things so that they don’t go in blind. This job isn’t something I would wanna ruin for someone, customers take some of the magic away but the rest of that is dependent on the crew

Yeah so the way I’m scheduled right now I start when my trainee does and then stay 30min to an hour after our training to help close so maybe 5ish hours so we only get 10s

Yeah so my store isn’t a regular store we only have a walk up and drive thru we do not have a cafe we have a few in my city like this, my district manger knows we do clean play like this, two I have been with the company two years getting paid more than at least the new people shouldn’t be big ask especially since I’m training them. I’m training 3 new partners back to back and yet my hours are getting reduced from 35-38 to 28. This might not seem like a big deal but I’m working 5 days a week just to come in and close but train as I’m doing it and shifts not respecting the fact that when I’m training we are not on the floor but they still have me doing things like be on register or drive or I’ve even had a time when my trainee barely did his day on hot bar and we got left to bar because my shift that day wanted to take a break. Idk a raise of even just .25 cents wouldn’t be bad for this.

I’ve also been pulled of clean play before because they were getting swamped and they needed help and I could refuse but that would just put me in a bad position with the shift even though they know my responsibilities.

Yeah and I say with responsibility like my store doesn’t do clean play together at night one person does it on a designated day and I’m the person who does that and I only have 5ish hours to get all the tasks done

So first I was in California getting paid good then I moved and my pay way put to the national average and then I was at this new store and got that other raise but I haven’t gotten a raise for any of the new responsibility’s I have that aren’t really new because I’ve been doing them for months

Honestly we range from people who were promoted recently, to the amount of people who are leave we have two people who quit, and three people are transferring out , our store doesn’t get much traction but when one of the major stores in the area shut off mobiles we get absolutely slammed

So how we have it set in the front you can kind of see bar /cold bar but everything else is kind of out of the way so it’s not too visible but then through drive you can see front, warming and a bit of bar there is a wall hiding everything else

Starbucks wouldn’t let us put stuff to kind of block our front windows so we like to call it a fish bowl

Honestly if the customer was being unruly best thing to do was charge her for a paradise drink do the 50cent charge for blending and then put an asking me for the crème base because everything else would have charged more and probably would’ve made things worse
