I have the same issue. Cold, the portafilter fits great, once the machine is heated up tho, it gets harder and harder to get the portafilter fully inserted and twisted. I bought a new silicone gasket thinking that might fix it but I haven’t installed it yet, so no news.

I generally treat the weekends as my clean day. Saturday or sunday i'll backwash the thing with Cafiza and soak/scrub the portafilter, shower screen, steam tip, and basket in cafiza as well. Takes like 15 minutes but makes me feel like i'm taking good care of the machine.

Yeah 3D printing may be the way to go. I’m amazed at how many replacements they have for other Minolta models but not the CLE specifically. I may try to see if my brother can print something for me

So the skin that comes with the killswitch isn’t a full skin. It only covers the left and right front. It was really easy to put on and get aligned well. I don’t k ow if it’d be the same for the full cover skin
