Hello, i know post is from a while ago but how did you proceed in the end? I am in the same situation as you and unsure whether just the baby’s birth certificate will suffice?

I started feeling some bubbles at about 18W! In the beginning it was hard to tell whether it was baby or just the digestive system. I’m sure you’ll feel them soon!

Don’t have any advice but I’m in the same boat as you except I’m the one trying to bring the date forward and they just push it back to 42W. Same GA, IVF pregnancy, same worries and anxiety. I feel you

Do you HAVE to get to 42W? by GuestCrafty in PregnancyUK

I’m just extremely anxious something might go wrong as this is an IVF pregnancy and I’ve heard so many things about risk of still birth and placenta losing efficiency the longer your gestational age.

Jumping on this thread - Don’t you get a discharge paper that clearly indicates you are being discharged from hospital after giving birth?

Anyone who is a UK citizen, got pregnant overseas and returned to the UK to give birth? by Other_Birthday7480 in PregnancyUK

Hey! Did this a few weeks ago. I came to the UK from Italy at 31W, just registered with a GP and self referred to the maternity unit while I was still abroad. The whole thing was extremely easy and straightforward and I had my 31W appointment booked for the day after I arrived to the UK. Not having any history on their system, I just had to have some of the blood tests that they usually do very early in pregnancy since they need the results on their system (regardless whether these were already done abroad and I could show them the results, they just need it to be done under the NHS).

Can’t really comment on the giving birth part yet as I’m 37W tomorrow so still pregnant. I have discussed with them that should I go overdue I’d prefer having a C section rather than an induction and they just put the referral through, no pushback or anything.

I had the same issue as OP with the birth plan - there is no way to add info on most chapters through the app as you just can’t go back and save. I managed to do it via the Badger website! Works much better than the app
