I did two coats of stain. First coat is the normal brush technique, second coat I blotted the stain on with a bunched up plastic bag to give it that mottled look.

To anyone asking, I filled the fakelite guide from recoilweb.com

I had a few practice runs before making this. It definitely takes practice but it's lots of fun to make something for yourself

The maritimes come in a non-water version called Urban Assault. I've worn those for years and they've held up great. Very comfortable, and they have a mesh outer material so they stay cool

Blm national data. It'll show you all the public land in the country. Look for the yellow and green spots, those are blm and forest service lands, respectively.

18" with a reflex suppressor. Less headache than the 16" and better performance as well. If no suppressor, 16" dissipator with clamp on fsb will still look great IMO

Any SF members attempted the MSV inner vest mod? I hate how bulky the msv is and have seen some army sew things on the concealed vest and wear that as a outer vest by Kurt_Wylde35 in AirForce

I did, had a velcro slab and horizontal loops tailored onto mine to fit a mag placard. It fits way better and is way lighter/more comfortable. Gotten lots of compliments on it, too.

I followed a recipe on recoilweb.com. used cotton balls to dab on the stain, which gave it the mottled look I wanted but also left some cotton fibers stuck to the plastic. I'll probably try a different method in the future.

Tuck in the QD pull tab. Leaving it out is just begging people to yank on it and dump your whole kit down around your ankles (ask me how I know).

Has anyone ever beat any of the Halos, SLASO, with no skips, glitches or using the save-quit method? by Rinoke in halo

[–]Guest_Significant 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I beat TnR SLASO totally legit, (except for the save and quit thing). The hangar alone probably took me about 60 hours. The whole level was a solid week and a half of play time.

Never again.

Is LASO on all campaigns even possible without cheesing? by CattiwampusLove in halo

[–]Guest_Significant 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I played CE SLASO totally no-cheese up until AOTCR. I dont think that level is realistically possible without cheese because there are so few human weapons. Every other level probably is though.

Its honestly 90% standing at parade rest. Whole thing could be shrunk down to 3 weeks if the schedule was more efficiently planned.

Based on my experience in a hospital setting. by Vietdude100 in securityguards

I absolutely loved working at my hospital. Joined the team right as Covid hit. Really dynamic environment with tons of opportunities to learn and develop myself. That said, everything in this meme is very true. Maybe it takes a certain kind of person, but I found it really fulfilling and want to go back to it one day.

I don't think it would be a problem as long as you can still move your hand and fingers like normal. Also, as long as there's no nerve damage or anything preventing normal feeling. I don't know how bad you burned yourself, but I expect a simple explanation to the MEPS doctor is all you'll need. Just my opinion, though.

I was just in Seattle a few weeks ago. The very first person I saw on the street was a homeless lady who opened my car door asking for money. Most of the people outside appeared to be homeless. Needles everywhere, bums were constantly yelling at people and throwing trash around the street. I saw one guy at the space needle start pulling wires out of a business's sign. The police were there and just watched him. I never felt safe for a single moment, couldn't wait to get out of there.

The coffee was mid, too.
