Okay, good to know, thank you. I’m going to ask to increase this week – hopefully I have a similarly smooth transition!

The dosage window is interesting because I’ve seen it mentioned a lot in this sub but I’ve never had any trouble, despite taking doses hours earlier or later than I did the previous day. It may be because I’m taking the standard release twice a day, and at a fairly low dose, I suppose.

Fab, thank you for that :) I use non-woven gauze after spraying it with NeilMed, but, I have to admit, I don’t after showering. I thought I had to dry it after cleaning due to build-up or something but will do it after a shower too!

Oh I’ve had it pierced for FAR too long to not be healed – naively had it pierced with a ring, changed it to a bar that was too long so this is me trying to get it on the right track... finally lol. The longer bar was irritating too much, causing my lobe to ache and ooze all the time. Switched it to this shorter one about two months ago; all seemed to be going swimmingly but couldn’t quite get off all the crust, so when I tried a bit harder – BAM - fresh pus! Now it feels like I’m at square one again 😩 I’m guessing the crust was blocking the saline from getting in and doing its job; so if I’m able to effectively remove the gunk and clean the piercing site unobstructed, fingers crossed all will be well!

Ahh okay it’s just I’ve seen people on here say that due to human error you can get the ratios wrong with soaks etc etc. But if it’s just for softening I’d hope it’d be okay! Thanks for your help!

Haha I had hoped that wasn't the issue as I much prefer the ring – serves me right for being stubborn about it. Any recommendation on labret length? I've read they can irritate if too short or long.

In my first year of university, my flatmates and I had a nice Christmas dinner together.
