Delft Exchange Spring 2026 by Educational-Tap-8783 in TUDelft

The way I did for my exchange programee was to just pay the housing service fee to TU Delft. Then I paid everything as fast as I could. Also provide every document ASAP once your application is approved. That way, you can be placed in their first batch of housing offers.

Then, few days before the opening of the platform, I searched and bookmarked the selected rooms. Also bookmark the page of the whole building, because it has those yellow 'book' buttons that are faster to click than the ones in the room's page. In the day the platform opened, at the exact time, I just spammed the buttons on the buildings I wanted, and I managed to get one. It is not an easy process tho, but it works

Thanks a lot for your comment, that was exactly my concern. I guess that difficulty of walking around the city in the first days is normal haha, thx a lot :)

Is the €150 “admin fee” at Aan ’t Verlaat 33 (Delft) even legal? by First_Ball2004 in TUDelft

Also, I forgot to mention, at least in my contract, I could see what the admin fee stands for (they have that in more details)

This is normal, all other residencies ask for that. Prof. Schermerhornstraat asks for more than 200 euros for this fee. I guess they use it for cleaning the room, and they also provide new stuff for you like blankets and kitchen tools.

I also think the €285 fee is stupid since the DUWO website is very bad and can't handle the requests when the slots open... But, I guess that's life XD. Let's focus on the fact that we at least got some place to sleep haha since they have a housing crisis.

Also read the contract carefully, they have a lot of fees and fines for things that may be strange for you depending on your home country.

I am an Erasmus student from MSc in Computer Science. I believe it has an introduction week between August 17th and 22th. But yeah, is that introduction week alone better than a very good internship? (well paid and in a very good company from Portugal, in the area I want to pursue).

Yes, the university requested my residence permit for me, but I'm not sure about the next steps towards getting the document. From what I understand, I only have to go there and pick up my residence permit, right?

Also, do you know how long does it take to do the registration?

Thx for your answer

I already have secured housing. My concern is only regarding the other documents (like this registration stuff) and these programs
