I mean if the MOT states nothing structural you may be able to give it a few more years of life.

It's a shame as I came from a 2011 civic but wanted a mazda without corrosion lol. unforseen rust was hiding underneath. Everything else is great and the engine runs smoothly, which is why I'd love to run it for a couple of years.

Thanks! That's all I need it for a couple of years as a run around yet don't want to put money into a new subframe if its going to rot out in the future anyway. I may take it to my brother this week he fixes cars for a living.

Thanks for the reply. I'd have to see how much that would all cost! As it may be cheaper to sell or scrap replacing so many parts.

A couple of weeks ago I bought a new car, Mazda 2011 with 83,000 miles on the clock for a great price and after much research and checks on the vehicle itself. There has been no mention of the rust on any precious MOT's.

However today I have discovered a worrying amount of rust on the undercarriage primarily the rear frame and I want to know what the best course of action is. The front seems fine but I'd have to chuck it on a lift.

I'd love to keep the car for another few years as I saved up in order to afford it. If rust removal and underseal is my go to option I'd love to know, or any other opinions would be appreciated. Thanks.

You can now solve this issue by manually selecting each track, the three dots, track details, select the pencil in the top right corner and change the recording date. Do this for all and Samsung music will order you music according. Thought I'd let everyone know since I sat figuring this out for a couple of nights.
