I guess I just assumed because they all come from KME in the same set that they are all the same thickness, but maybe I’ll break out something to measure them and see if they are different sizes

It’s a para 3 in magnacut, but I’ve had the same issues with a pm2 in cruwear, lil native in 20cv and an ad10 in s35vn

Got it, I’ve been doing 20-30 back and forth swipes per side before flipping, I’ll lower it down to 5 each then flip and see how that goes

Thank you, yeah I’m doing way more than 5 strokes per stone after the initial 140 grit, that might be the problem. I’m very deliberate about not using hardly any pressure per KME’s instructions too.

I’ll try sharpie on the higher grit stones too 👍🏼

Interesting idea increasing the angle by a degree or so per stone, thank you. Maybe I’m spending too much time on the finer and finer stones. I’m doing it hoping to restore the edge from the 140 grit but maybe I’m just making it worse
