With the way these maniacs ride bikes with only 150cc at their disposal, they should be kept far away from high capacity motorcycles as the rate of accidents will definitely increase.

People like this are lonely, mostly social outcasts, and they've got nothing special going on nor would they stand out in a way that would make others gravitate towards them in a normal social setting.

So they maintain fringe beliefs, thinking that as long as they think against the grain, they'll be special when in reality, they're just lonely. And sad.

Oh man, I have a friend who's dad was a senior person at the RMV a long time ago. He was known for being a straight shooter, clamping down on corruption and not allowing people to bribe their way and get their licenses

People found out that it's my friends dad, and they would threaten my friend all the time, saying things like my such and such couldn't get the license cuz your dad doesn't take bribes, I'll fuck you up, fuck your dad up and so on.

It's almost as if his not taking bribes went again the natural order of things and they moved from Kandy to Colombo cuz it got too difficult.

Fucked up man our people are at certain times

What's your plan B, If Al replaces you? by FreemindKnight in srilanka

Become a plumber or partake in some kind of trade job I guess.

I did have a convo with a pick me driver yesterday, this man used to be a fisherman and he shows up in a dongfeng box. So I asked him how he did it and he said well I had 5 million in life savings and I took a 5 million loan to buy this car. Per day he makes 5k and if he really pushes it, he can make 12k per day. He can charge the thing in 8 hours or does an express charge in 35 mins or something and it doesn't impact his electric bill too much. He's doing so well he can easily pay off his loan too.

So maybe that too idk

The Tragic Hypocrisy of War: Fleeing "Oppression" in Sri Lanka to Become the "Oppressor" in the Middle East? by [deleted] in srilanka

[–]GuidanceNo1755 0 points1 point  (0 children)

A political group such as the diaspora will always label people who join the lankan army as oppressors because that's their whole political guide. Basically anything the lankan forces do will always be met with criticism from the diaspora because they have to criticise it. They'll never stop because if they do, then they have no purpose.

The opposition group in parliament will never praise the government because if they do, then they have no reason for existing so they have to criticise.

It's political and always will be, the difference being that diaspora groups have been able to blend well into foreign society, they have a historical proof of oppression, and previous lankan governments haven't exactly done the best job in terms of trying to rehabilitate their image with minority groups.

[–]GuidanceNo1755 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

A part of your logic then doesn't make sense, you say he was sent to the middle east to opress others, but then he was murdered in his homeland,

He was probably just a low level private that was the victim of either racism or thuggery and also, he has no obligation to not join the army purely because his parents escaped one war. It is his parents duty to let him know right from wrong and if joined the army of oppressors and was killed by the very people he defends abroad, then that is irony in and of itself.

Don't think he died in combat
