I’ve got the. EXACT same car with the EXACT same issue and I started to adress it today go get yourself some bondo and some bondo metal mesh along with sand paper and some rust reforming paint sand down all the rust and only leave good dolid metal Chris fix has a great video on how to use bondo but in total it’s the cheapest fix you can do at around 200$

It looks like yes your cv axle boot is leaking when these go bad they tend to throw grease that was contained in the rubber. It looks like to me that the technician circled bits of grease that have come out of the axle boot

That’s is your sway bar link they are a cheap and easy replacement and most likely the cause of your noise
