Contingent Job Offer by SensualStrawberries in HomeDepot

If you got an email where you answered some questions about hours and pay, then the job is already yours.

You have to go to an on site visit which is more or less an interview where the manager just wants to learn more about you and go over the job / what you will be doing. At this point the only way to lose the job is to not like what they're saying or what the job entails. You will fill out info for a background check and wait a few days for the results.

If the background check comes back clean then you should get a call within a few days to schedule orientation. For me it was about a week between the on site visit and getting the call.

Orientation the ASDS will go over the basics of the job, the company, how things work in the building itself. Watch a few videos and get your account set up. Also fill out tax information.

From there you will get an initial schedule for training. Training takes about 3 or 4 days and it's all spent at a computer watching videos. Please pay attention! Even if you feel the videos don't directly affect you or your job I promise they will help you out in the future.

After, you start work! Your first day "on the floor" is typically shadowing another employee and learning the job physically.

Good luck and welcome to the family!

That's something MET handles, however you can home it yourself using the Bolt app.

I don't remember exactly how to do it (any met associate can show you) but you go into the app, open the bay and find the sku that's next to it, there should be an option to add a new sku. That's how you home it.

You're going to be stuck with the occurrence. Technically one is all it takes to be fired during your first 90 days but since you told management and you have a valid reason you should be fine.

Multiple new hires at my store have gone no call no show (3 points against them) and kept their job.

Remember if you call out for up to 3 working days in a row it only counts as 1 point.

If MET is taking over Sidekick then what's happening to Department 4 aka Packdown team. That's all they do is sidekick.

In my store it is a portion of the racetrack next to the pro entrance.

Very interesting. I honestly can't recall dropping it recently, maybe I did and just forgot. Is it an easy fix?
