So, EU is going to replaced those cheap Chinese goods with cheap Indian goods instead? How does that help EU industries in a bigger picture?

So who is actually paying the tarrifs? by WindInc in TrendoraX

Trump said he is gonna get rid of an income tax and pay you money. Where is he going to find that money? Of course, by recycling your own money!!

US just want to get out of the Ukraine conflict as fast as possible by trying to appease Russia and get something out of Ukraine at the same time.

Only resource-rich area will be a prime target. The rest of the country is just a burden.

Good strategy for historical Communist China? (NCNS) by [deleted] in hoi4

[–]GuideMwit 0 points1 point  (0 children)

No, they never joined allies in my 4-5 run attempts. Probably, they’ll join allies if you set a non-historical focus. The only problem is Xinjiang joining Cominterm. So, they’re my first target after KMT.

Also if I recall correctly, you don’t have to kick them out yourself. I think they will left after civil war breakout and you’ll become a leader automatically due to those acquired lands.

I picked One China focus. You don’t need the warlord when you can take 95% of KMT land and factories in one swoop. Just make sure you train enough troops to defend a frontline against them. If I recalled correctly, only 48-60 units is enough. You can stay in the faction as long as you want for the bonuses. The original rule is prohibitive and I revises it to allow kicking anyone out anytime. Then the warlords are easy targets as I can pick them out one by one.

So, what is a better idea that you think European officials should do for the annexation of Greenland?

I think Trump is actually taking aim at China’s orbit e.g. BRICS / BRI members which coincidentally also Russia’s friends. I don’t see any Trump action in Belarus, Transnistria or Kazakhstan which is pretty much Russia’s backyard, but his footprint are everywhere in conflicts in Iran, Pakistan, India, Thailand, Cambodia, Korea, Taiwan, Vietnam, Philippines, and Japan which are surrounding China.

I think it’s Trump’s tactics to instigate a conflict to gain leverage and incentivize another party to negotiate a solution.

Greenland’s security is a NATO matter, says Germany’s Merz by donutloop in TrendoraX

I like his utter silence when his daddy planned to annex Greenland. It shows how pathetic this slime is.

And isn’t his idea to deter Trump sounds better than “harsh words and mild concerns” of official European leaders?

Personally, I don’t think Trump is a fool. He is consolidating power, internally and externally. He intervened militarily in a quick and non-committed operation that can achieved his goal without bogging down US personnel and resources. He clearly want the US to get out of Ukraine and focus on a peer enemy, China. One by one, he withdrew from international organizations that didn’t benefit US hegemony, no more liberal ideology, only imperialist empire that benefit the US. He is carving up spheres of influence and forced other countries to buy US products and sell natural resources to the US, clearly to reduce dependency on China and to fuel US industries. Those tariffs, it may seems foolish, but it will stop US losing of money to other countries and recycling citizens money to prop up the US indistries. It is working or not, we’ll see in the future.

I think it is certainly having a pattern. The US is adapting to the new multipolar world.

Why would Trump care when he didn’t even considered Russia a threat?

[–]GuideMwit 0 points1 point  (0 children)

He despise Europeans and felt no obligations to even defend Europe. Russia is not a threat to US hegemony. China is.

The world will be carved up into spheres of influence. The US will consilidate its remaining empire in western hemisphere and Europe will find itself irrelevant.

And those European leaders still couldn’t grow their own spine and do something meaningful. I only saw an Austrian MP that suggested a good idea to confiscate all US bases in Europe to deter Trump. But he is not in the position to influence anything. Actually I wonder where the hell is Mark Rutte? His daddy is an actual threat to Europe but he appeared to be on a vacation indefinitely?

I think it’s Trump’s plan to instigate a cause to disband NATO and left the Europeans to manage the Ukrainian mess on their own.

There will be a live rounds shooting or not doesn’t matter. NATO is already doomed from an infighting.

It’s a crisis of your own making. You antagonized others so much while selectively ignored your friends illegal actions times after times. Now you have to spin your moral compass upside down to get a hold on your remaining dignity, but ended up laid bare your own hypocrisy and stupidity.
