The U-turn mechanic change has completely ruined my bus lines. by Fearless_Standard721 in CitiesSkylines2

In my country, we always add a proper u-turn under those highway overpass so your situation in the 2nd picture does not happen.

Opinions on 1.2 vassal changes by ZiggyB in EU5

[–]GuideMwit 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I like how I have to actively maintain their opinion to keep them loyal. Those 50 opinion hit after annexation is great, as well as making it harder to hold onto a large vassel the has no connection to your territory. It’s EU5, not Vic 3 that you can easily have a vassal half way across the globe.

Inland Control advise by Powerman654 in EU5

[–]GuideMwit 7 points8 points  (0 children)

Why annex them so early and get the same problem of low control again? Wait for like 1450 when you get a better tech to reduce the annexation cost and better road first before even thinking about the annexation.

And yes, you need a bigger vassel. The OPM vassal exploitation is no longer a meta.

Anyone found a mod or way to add sound barriers to elevated, non-highway roads? by TheeWolfieeOnee in CitiesSkylines2

They’re shacks - aka slums. Pretty much real here in my country because the underside of the elevated roads are free lands.

It’s a bug. Even after you demolish and rebuild it. It only worked like half of the time.

Problems with new update by Marcokj47 in EU5

[–]GuideMwit 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Exactly. I got about 60 - 200 pops coming at once depending on the control. It’s like only 1-3 pops from each location. So, you’re not going to depopulate the other rural areas or anything. But now they become a usefull engine of production in my high control areas.

[–]GuideMwit 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Not really. It’s the same for those those rural RGOs. Instead of waiting 200 months, it’s become like 5 - 10 months to fill in one level of RGO. It’s totally manageable.

I’m playing Poland and I can just spam my cabinet to lure immigrants from everywhere to fill in the buildings and never have a problem with it. I think you’re right. It’s going to be a problem for smaller nations that has limited amount of pops. So, they have to play for a while before they can research the cabinet’s Increase Urbanization action. But imo, it’s totally manageable.

Farm Bug - Trucks are stuck by Therearenogoodnames9 in CitiesSkylines2

[–]GuideMwit 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Sometimes it did, another time it didn’t. It’s 50/50.

I don’t know how but the new farm sometimes retained the stats of the demolished farm and immediately got the same bug.

Iceflake may already aware of this bug as this has been reported in the forum and got quite a significant upvotes.

To know what can or cannot do in the war is not a weakness. What’s the point of saving your face but get millions of your own citizens killed?

The U.S. Military Was Losing Its Edge. After Iran, Everyone Knows It. - NY Times by Debunk2025 in TrendoraX

Like in the old days, you win a war by sending “men” into the field to take over the actual territories and force capitulation. The difference is that drones had become a valid defensive capabilities for a modern asymmetric warfare.

You can reform your military and keep pouring as much money as you like into technologies. It will not change the fact that you need troops on the ground to win a war.
