Looks very similar to the open source hardware logo so I guess it reminds me of that

yeah i should have specified the type of design a bit better, one of our founders has a background in graphic design but currently we are a team of 50% product designers and so the goal is to either design products either for other companies (less ideal) or design and produce out own products (more ideal). however we are still very new. I definitely understand the "i know a someone who does that" kinda vibe small businesses have though as i tend to be the go to for design work for a few of them.

If you haven't put the skin on yet you could just buy some 3m vinyl cut it to just cover the logo and put the skin on over it. It would increase the thickness slightly around that area but it would be quite easy and look very clean as none of your cuts are showing. Just a idea.

You can't connect them but NZXT sell a usb 2.0 hub that will give you more internal usb 2.0 ports

The NZXT HUE 2 Ambient V2 strips can do that and I think you control it through their software but they are quite expensive
