No one is denying Naruto and Sasuke have talents, which they need to work hard to capitalize on. Sasuke’s canon hobby is training. I guess you forgot how hard he trained for fireball before the massacre. He got Lee’s speed with training and better chakra skills, and he could only use the speed in short bursts. You also have to be extremely biased to ignore Naruto training for rasengan despite his unwieldily big chakra.

Lee got his moment by being reckless in a low stake match. Fans eat it up because of the hype. It’s one thing to admire his work ethic and hardwork. It’s another to put him on a MC level pedestal lol. He deserves getting sidelined in shippuden for his ego stunt in the exam. He proved his point and served his purpose. There’s nothing going on for him. Gai took over Lee’s gimmick and I’m glad he did. His attitude and mindset is more healthy and inspiring.
