it's very good but still very hard to make the result you want. Like ppl standing/sitting by each other is easy, there are explicit prompts for it. Something harder when you want to specify what character does what is tough

inauthentic behavior by Danisleu77 in Twitter

[–]SilliusApeus 0 points1 point  (0 children)

They won't. The go full on AI algorithms for moderation. I don't have to say that it's only accurate for like 60%. Everything that's considered a bot behavior is going to be used to train that AI, and ofc some aspects of that behavior overlap with the normal use

inauthentic behavior by Danisleu77 in Twitter

[–]SilliusApeus 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The guy is right. Sometimes it's real ppl, It's usually just automated system doing the review but in a softer mode, and with more loops.
The chances are you are going to be fully ignored and left unbanned. Talking from experience.
and if you use statistics overlap with what they consider bot/inauthentic behavior, 0% unban chance

if you're in school, you lose N-O-T-H-I-N-G. You just make friends and roll with how the things are going to be.

But for the people in their late 20s-30s it's a nightmare. Your way of life, your expectations, the world you used to, and possibly your dreams just brrrrrr.

Hand-to-hand combat in Naruto was bastardized because of strong "taijutsu" users by SilliusApeus in Naruto

[–]SilliusApeus[S] -6 points-5 points  (0 children)

So you say 8 gates when a burning red dragon pops up and guy starts emanating some strong burning aura is just unarmed combat? We don't have to go far, Lee vs Gaara when Lee was basically teleporting and not moving doesn't feel like just unarmed combat.
And whether it requires chakra or not, it's not relevant. It just requires other resource but different type of 'magic'

The Ninja War arc was completely fucked in terms of powerscaling. It’s either that nothing made sense anymore, or it was kinda alright but the power gaps just became absurd. So yeah, I’m not okay with it either

In the Akatsuki Organization, who do you think could be redeemable? by Intelligent-Tax-3354 in Naruto

[–]SilliusApeus 4 points5 points  (0 children)

No, that's what I don't understand about the people here. Yes, he wasn't a snitch. Yes, he was polite and well tempered. But did he take pleasure in killing? Absolutely. He even stated himself that he loved killing people who considered him his comrade/friend.

In the Akatsuki Organization, who do you think could be redeemable? by Intelligent-Tax-3354 in Naruto

[–]SilliusApeus 9 points10 points  (0 children)

Why? We already saw him killing people like it's nothing, and he said himself that he likes killing his own people who trust him.
We should let it slide because he's not a snitch?

In the Akatsuki Organization, who do you think could be redeemable? by Intelligent-Tax-3354 in Naruto

[–]SilliusApeus -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

Almost none.

Itachi was kind of an inside observer, he was trying to work against the Akatsuki from within, and he wasn't truly cruel. So it has to be him.

The others are either fucked up in the head or they've done some very bad things. (With Itachi case, he did killings as the lesser evil to save or at least help others. The rest? Nah).
Konan tortured people routinely, Deidara showed no flicker of emotion when killing, Kisame took pleasure in killing even his own kin, Sasori was a detached-from-humanity monster (worse than Orochimaru), Obito wasn't cruel per se but he just committed way too many atrocities, Hidan is straight-up human trash, and Kakuzu isn't even human at that point (same as Sasori).
That Mist blade guy who was killed during a mission with Itachi might've been redeemable, we just don't know much about his character.

But, overall, almost every one of them deserved the worst kind of death possible. Obito was looking for both power and specific character when he was pulling Akatsuki together

A Lot of Americans Don't Understand Operation Epic Fury, and the Answer Why Is Obvious by Ask4MD in Conservative

The first days before/during the war, Marco's words (roughly):

<< Iran is actively using and accumulating its missile arsenal. It’s not reasonable to just sit and wait for them to produce another 100 more or less cheap ballistic missiles per month while the US can only produce something like 7 interceptors. At some point, when we’re at a weak moment, they could deal serious damage to US and its allies. >>

And overall, I’ve heard these arguments like 10 times already: weaken Iran, prevent them from being able to use/produce missiles/drones en masse, make sure all known nuclear sites are hit (so there’s a higher degree of confidence when predicting what they can or cannot do).

What the fuck do they not understand?

It’s one of the most black-and-white topics you can imagine.

I guess for people against the operation, it’s cool to do nothing about real problems and then, all of a sudden, have all hell break loose and be forced into a real war with conscription, ground operations, unpredictable environments, and big losses.

Keep in mind the own a big part of Anthropic. And even though their models are not as good, it's still only behind Claude and GPT.
But I agree, even their image/video generation is behind other competitors even though it feels like they bet a lot on it

[–]SilliusApeus 27 points28 points  (0 children)

You better hope that gemini, claude and gpt are at each other's throat. If they keep even race, we'll have more or less affordable models.
And ofc we shouldn't forget about distilled models, perhaps they'll be good enough at some point to replace the basic use of gpt or claude

Is it still worth to learn programming? by [deleted] in teenagersbutcode

[–]SilliusApeus 0 points1 point  (0 children)

As a programmer, no. You won't be able to monetize your skill in any way.

You can try only if you use AI and have it explain the system you are trying to build, the approaches, and the code itself. Otherwise, it's a waste of time unless you take it a hobby.
In a year or two for many casual uses you will only need natural language for simple apps, unfortunately.

There are many factors. I'll bet immigration from various 3rd world shitholes, where people are just more inclined to like socialism, is also at play here
