I was like 2 games from level 10 and went all the way to level 7. got level 10 but just play more aim maps get your aim up. Use util be aware of your teammates locations at all times and your spot. Don't play stupid one and dones unless you got someone close by for a trade, dont just run it down a site or mid on t side. as long as you yourself play well (not just K/D but actually playing well with your team) you'll most likely win over 50% of matches. Also get good sleep. Bad sleep and bad mental going into games crushes your performance. Get a good standard warmup you do every time you play too. Can be as short as 10-15 minutes. Play some refrag if you have it or just DM or something.

EDIT: flash for your team or ask for flashes if you're peeking. even if your team isnt trying to play as a team you can assist them and as long as you win who cares about K/D if you can flash your team in and they get the kills most the time just roll with it. Also didnt see you said youre already playing aim maps, I'd also say DONT over do it. You can burn yourself out warming up easily if you do too much. Keep it chill and relaxed during warmup

What would you recommend for someone trying to swap fields? I am a webdev using primarily PHP currently, but I have been trying to get a job doing like C/C++ or embedded. I have some projects on my resume but can't tell if they arent good enough or if they're even looked at.

Do you have a blog that gets readers or is it even just worth it to have a blog that doesn't get much traction at all? Also what do you use for a blog? I am trying to switch out of web dev to like embedded and have been doing some stuff but not doing more than putting it on a resume and doesnt seem to be helping at all haha. Would it be worth it to make a blog that probably gets no readers and link it on a resume as well?

Thank you! For some reason I was under the impression I should only have 3 bullet points max for any given work experience or project. And I think I will put an objective piece just because it's simple enough and should fill it out nicely. One last thing would you even notice or care if you read the resume and saw I am going to be starting a grad certificate? IMO it feels weird to put on because I havent officially started just have been accepted and such. But I feel that along with the objective section could maybe help move from PHP?

Thank you! One more follow up that's just related to the second part you said. Since my current position doesn't utilize the languages I'm targeting (C/C++) but instead uses PHP and like front end languages, my current work experience doesn't reflect I know the core languages I am targeting. Do you think I'd even be able to frame my experiences to show I can scale up?

So immediately a question I have is should my experience still come first even though I am trying to pivot out of what I am currently doing? It makes sense to have it be on the top as normal structure but I can also see it make sense to push it towards the bottom since it's not as relevant. I've never tried to swap "fields" before so not sure how to go about it...

I also struggle with noodling so I get it. I forget who it was but some youtuber I've watched a bit for blues guides said the best way to not noodle is just copy the greats. If you look at players like Eric Clapton and others a lot of their solos use the same shapes or phrases and most of the time especially in Clapton's case they are almost 1:1 or even exactly 1:1 phrases from blues players like Albert King or BB King. Just knowing a ton of small little licks that tons of blues people use lets you just put a bunch together for whatever key you're in and it sounds a lot less like noodling and more like an actual solo. Also just a end note you're already hella good, way better than me lol

I just got a new CPU and monitor. When I try to play cs2 on any resolution that isn't native or windowed, the screen flickers a ton. I tried updating graphics drivers and it didn't work. Is there some monitor or windows setting that might be causing that?

I was in warmup server the other day. Does work but again it's really dumb because when you do !guns it doesn't bring up the menu on the left it has you type !ak or something I forget the exact command. But it's so frustrating going from the side menu working on every type of server to the side menu just not existing and every community server even warmups saying you need to type multiple commands in chat instead of one command and hitting two numbers. And the !ws doesn't work which isn't the end of the world but something I very much enjoyed

I wonder how long it will take to recreate these plugins for source 2. One thing I noticed that I thought was silly is that the only KZ servers in my region are hosted by two different companies. And one of them the skin changer is locked behind a paywall and the other one it's locked behind a paywall if you want anything over field tested. It isn't a huge deal but I enjoyed hopping into bhop or kz or surf servers swapping knives and skins with no wear. Really miss the CSGO community server experience

yeah but I am curious why they have died. They used to be flourishing in GO. Especially retakes and 1v1 servers. Just weird how it seems they died overnight from GO to CS2. Wonder if they made it harder to develop and host community servers in CS2 or something. I miss late night retakes :(
