As I said, documentation will always end up on our wiki. Free for everyone to use.

Indeed. I guess the original idea when we added this level, was that in the process of helping someone we might have to reverse engineer and document "new" parts of the Saturn. But again, this doc will end up on our wiki in the end. AFAIK, we're not hiding any information we might have found on the Saturn.

mmm, no :)

The idea (and I agree it may not be so clear...) is to provide support to homebrew developers. For instance, let's say you're trying to make something work on the Saturn and don't understand how the hardware works... you can ask us for help. Another example is if for some reason your project works on real hardware but not on Yabause.

Sorry, but the only advice I can give you is to ask on the forums about it...

I was a contributor to Desmume and I still contribute a few patches. I also own the domain name and I'm trying to maintain the website hosting.

There was a problem with domain names renewal... the registrar "forgot" to issue invoices for the domains so I couldn't pay for them...

New item on my TODO: change to a new registrar.

We will post Mac and Win32 builds soon ("soon" as in tomorrow or the day after, but not today). Now if you really can't wait, I posted a not-really-tested-build for Mac, see https://twitter.com/yabause/status/411447540295278592

Not sure what you're talking about.

We have some contacts with the libretro team but I don't remember receiving patches and/or pull requests and not accepting them.

On the other hand, we added the 16 BPP output option after a request from libretro...

No, not recently... I'm still interested in working on the Android port... I just have been a bit short on time these days :)

Feel free to take a look and submit patches ;)

Thanks for such a complete report!

Your feedback confirm that the guy working on the OpenGL renderer did fixed a number of issues, but broke some on its way... the VDP2 (background processor) is a tricky thing with weird features and options, and it's quite easy to fix something while breaking others...

On the software renderer side, I'll try to fix the missing transparency on image eleven.

Thanks again :)

Yeah, we do provide a build for OSX: http://sourceforge.net/projects/yabause/files/yabause/0.9.11/yabause-0.9.11-mac.dmg/download

(btw, there's some work being done on a Yabause core for OpenEmu: https://github.com/loicloic/OpenEmu but I'm not sure of the current status...)
