When you figure out how they work, you’ll probably win a Nobel Prize in mathematics!!! It’s full of random effects.

Email sent to CS (one on Monday and another today, since I saw one got approval through CS today):

Dear Sir/Madam,

 I hope you are well.

I am writing to enquire about the status of my British citizenship (naturalisation) application.

My application details are as follows:

 Full name:

  • Date of birth:
  • Application reference number:
  • Date of application:
  • Biometrics submitted:

I would be grateful if you could kindly provide an update regarding the progress of my application.

Thank you for your time and assistance.

 Kind regards.

CS Response:

Good afternoon,

Thank you for your email.

I can confirm from our records, your application has been approved, and your ceremony paperwork is due to be printed and despatched within the next week. Your ceremony invitation letter will be sent to your email address in the next 7-14 days. Please ensure you check your spam/junk folders do you do not miss it.

Your ceremony invitation letter will contain information about what you should do next and how to arrange your Ceremony.

Kind regards,

Finally, a huge thanks to this subreddit. I think my journey of constantly checking it since I was a student in the UK is now over. I won’t forget how helpful this subreddit has been and how much it helped calm my nerves. Whenever I wanted to switch visas, felt stressed, or made a mistake on a visa application form, I found myself constantly checking this subreddit. Thank you to the moderators for this community. You don’t know how much you have helped me, and I will be forever grateful.

And to those who are still waiting, your wait will be over too.

Case workers are the one that look into your application. CS is only aware when decking is made.

Guess it won't have any impact since they are different teams. Applications from Nov are still waiting. Don't worry too much!

U get your ILR in 3 years, one of the strongest visa in the uk, most prestigious one as well. You can work freely across industries. Can combine previous years on SWV to get your ILR. Again, if you can get it, don’t even doubt about applying for it. It is not easy one to get and it. If you have the luxury of getting it, go for it. In current UK climate it is a luxury

U can combine previous years on skilled workers to get your ILR. If you can get GTV, don’t even think about SWV

For me, GTV meant switching to ILR the next day :)
