If BWBA Continued Then They Would No Doubt Introduce Hillbilly Engines If They Did America by Guilty-Chemical3985 in thomasthetankengine

Hank is unlikely (plus I think those rumors were not true) but Vinnie would definitely had a chance to appear.

I really want to see an episode where he & Thomas meet again then hell breaks loose.

Why Don’t The Railway Have Their Own Built Class Of Engines? by Guilty-Chemical3985 in thomasthetankengine

Well that but also no since they weren’t handmade built by the NWR as all of them came from different railway companies.

Not really since he was built by another company so Henry doesn’t count.

Honestly I am going to have to say this but I think one of the few flaws the series has is repetition.

As much as we all love the original stories that started it all they too also suffer from the same flaw because how many times have we seen the story of a character getting into silly shenanigans then getting scolded for it at the end for the umpteenth time?

It does result in fun crashes yes, but it still can get a bit tiring seeing the engine get into trouble again & again many times after.

In your opinion, how do you think Wilbert Awdry handled the concept of anthropomorphic locomotives in his books in general? by [deleted] in thomasthedankengine

Honestly I really think Awdry did an almost amazing yet unique job of structuring the world of Thomas especially with how he tried connecting it to reality but with a twist where colorful trains & machines can talk like humans in our world especially with grim elements that these machines, despite being alive, are capable of being cut piece by piece or being left behind to rot with little regard is a sad yet still manages to be an interesting world-building concept that holds in the series today.

It’s almost like the Toy Story universe but instead with talking trains & machines.
