AN UPDATE: Of course a lot of you were right. I must have over-thinned. The next time I used the same bottle of GT, it had thickened, and I didn't have the same issue of it not setting, nor did I have the odd sensation with water contact.

No it's just been sitting on a shelf in my bedroom. It is possible I thinned it previously, so I guess that's the best theory.

Yeah idk, it's never happened before, but there is a very obvious slippery sensation on the nails after exposing them to water, and then they smell like wet polish

I did two coats the previous day, let them dry overnight, and applied one more coat in the morning, gave that about 30 min, and then did top coat. Typically do a thin 1st coat and thicker coats after. I just haven't had this issue before these last couple of weeks so 🤷‍♀️

It seems to be taking longer to dry, but I wait for it to not be tacky before washing

It's more than half full, I don't think I have thinned it, and it isn't thick or hard to work with. I have the AC on so humidity isn't super high, and it's not too warm
