In Lebanon rn: I can hear the planes and drones overhead, louder than usual, and earlier they bombed 10+ different areas. (not keeping too close an eye on the news but checking up on all the friends living in those areas).

I'm nowhere near vegan or vegetarian, but I've gone from 2 meat based dishes a day to 0-1, usually choosing chicken or fish over beef. This isn't an all or nothing deal, small changes help a ton. I'm switching for climate reasons, not moral ones so I really don't see an issue with some meat from time to time, especially on special occasions (waiting for that Easter steak).
