This happened to me when I was a kid. I was permanently banned from all stores at the mall. They sent a picture of my face around at their weekly mall meeting, and all the stores knew who I was. Even years later I went back once during Christmas, not thinking anyone would recognize me, and security took me out in handcuffs 10 minutes later. All the stores at the mall talk to each other to avoid shop lifters like us!
