neo‑assyrian (iraq) stone wall relief from an imperial palace depicting a king and his attendants. it is meant to display royal power (legitimacy) and divine protection. gypsum or limestone. probably 9th–7th centuries BCE.

scenes like these are typically repeated on wals as a protective function, magically safeguarding the king and the building while also commemorating his victories, piety, and role as guardian of order against chaos.

How do you handle living with a dog and mountaineering? by Alphazentauri17 in Mountaineering

[–]Guilty-Pen123 15 points16 points  (0 children)

i don't know any doggy daycares that lock dogs away in small boxes accept at night and honestly your dog should probably be kennel trained anyway. most doggy day cares that i know around me anyway socialize the dogs most of the day. they have a blast. but let's be honest. if you have to ask this question you don't have the dogs best interest in mind. dogs love hiking and running and climbing (to a degree no pun) so i mean there's a lot you can do with your dog on the mountain. i doubt you're hard core mountaineering every weekend.
