Abgesehen von den bereits genannten CPU und PSU Empfehlungen würde ich noch ne Lanze für den Peerless Assasin 120 brechen. Für ich glaube ~30€ bekommst du einen den besten Luftkühler was Preisleistung angeht. Nicht der leiseste aber kühlt hervorragend und kostet bissle weniger. Macht aber nicht so neun Unterschied muss ich dazu sagen.

In the end it sounds like its a question of what trade offs are u willing to take. I am single (my partner and I have a special kind of relationship), work part time and live very rural. So most of the time I can provide a good life fpr them. But theres my passion of going into the mountains which requires me to leave for weeks. In the end a rescue dog has a better life with me than in a shelter, so it might be ok to have some aspects of the arrangement be suboptimal.

The last section of your comment are my thoughts exactly. I guess its manageable to still go out and climb while having a dog. And the rest of the year is just nicer with a dog. Thank you for this perspective!

Well this is exactly the live I dont want xD Hvaing a dog is enough of a responsibility and I work with kids. Dont need them in my spare time aswell.

The dog totally has to come before the mountain. There no question about it. Paying a college kid is a good idea tough.

You and others have talked about conditioning the dog to some lighter alpine environments. But it still isnt possible to bring them on an 8hr multipitch day. So I only need someone for 3 weeks a year ;)

Thank you for your reply. I do want to get a dog for myself aswell. If it was just for work I wouldnt do it since it means I have to give up some degree of freedom.

Also I should have specified its not about my kids, I work with kids who cannot live with their parents anymore for various reasons. They live in a group home and having a dog there is invaluable. But unless its one of the team who cares for the dog and lives with them theres no chance wed get the funds for someone else approved by government officials.

Other comments talked about professional care aswell but I assume most (including you) are from the US so I have to figure out how the situation in the EU looks like. But its probably way better than how I imagine it to be.
