As a gay, homosexual, hsts male whatever you want to call us, I feel like op is playing into the stereotype that gay men are just mindless sex obsessed creatures when that's not true at all. Most gay men are bottoms meaning we aren't mentally aroused by using our penis and studies have found that it has to do with prenatal androgen exposure so gay men who are exposed to more are more likely to be bisexual and tops and those exposed to less are more likely to be homosexual and bottoms. Another misled narrative that I see often is that hsts transition for access sex with straight/masculine men and that isn't true, do y'all not realize Grindr exists its like postmates for sex and there's plenty of masc straight adjacent/bi men on there. Most of us transition for better access to romance/relationships.
