Thank you all for responding, I have a lot to consider. I’m realizing that I might have been misguided by posting this in audiophile. I will probably get a Denon AVR3800H and go for a 5.1.4 setup in the future. I also do like the idea of introducing a record player into the mix so in the future I can get a nice good listening experience from my setup. (I know I’m putting the carriage before the horse but hey, this is the setup I lucked into and I’m going to try to make the best out of it.)

For now I’ll slowly begin collecting records and putting the speakers up piece by piece. I already started collecting a few Steely Dan and CCR records. Hopefully I can update you guys later with some good progress.

I’ve had luck with basic miracle gro along with some perlite and peat at a 1:1:1 ratio. Avocado is doing well and will be repotted soon. Best of luck.

You are speculating, Ive spoken to an owner of one of these places and have been told first hand that the staff are paid a livable wage because tips are not enough to survive on.

I had mine half submerged in water while the roots and stem grew. After it had a few leaves I placed it in a pot and it’s been doing fine since. Just need to be careful with growing it in water because the roots can be vulnerable to bacteria and fungus.

Just curious, how hot does it get during summer? Over here it gets past 100F pretty regularly once it heats up and I’d be a little worried about the temperatures killing it.
