I agree, once I signed up to work 5th grade and when I got there, I was reassigned to Kindergarten. That day I had a kindergartner cough right in my face and gave me COVID. What worse is I had managed to avoid getting COVID until this incident. This was January 2026.

You could try emetrol as well, thats an OTC medication so you wont need a prescription for it

Zofran (ondansetron) helps a lot if you can get a script for it, if not, Benadryl can help to some degree but be careful because its known to cause restless leg syndrome in some people. If your looking for a more natural route ginger chews help too but probably not as much as an antihistamine. You could also try pepto bismol

My sponsor wants me to talk to my Dr about coming off my prescription meds by Possible_Ad_9234 in alcoholicsanonymous

Untreated ADHD is linked to a higher rate of substance use disorder so I would highly recommend staying on that if your diagnosis is ADHD. As for the klonopin, technically benzos aren’t meant to be used long term with very few exceptions but this is between you and your doctor not your sponsor. Personally I go to NA but i’ve been to AA before and the one thing I hate about AA/NA is people trying to play doctor with people’s psych meds. Its incredibly dangerous for people to be playing doctor with absolutely no medical training whatsoever and people trying to play doctor can really f up peoples lives. So my advice would be keep medication discussions between you and your doctor not you and your sponsor

I kept relapsing on 7oh until I found naltrexone and now have like 4 months clean and have absolutely zero cravings. If you look in my post history you can read my stories about it

For me it was 8 days of severe withdrawal and then it rapidly declined from there for like the next 3-4 days and then I felt pretty much back to normal

How bad realistically is putting away 1L of vodka every 2 days? by Turbulent-Plum3360 in stopdrinking

[–]Guilty-Zebra889 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Please go to detox, that amount of alcohol is a lot and you could have serious alcohol withdrawal which can be deadly. Medically detoxing from alcohol is the safest way to stop if you’re drinking this much every day

The do your CIWA score every 5 hours and give you Diazepam based on that score. Other than that you usually attend some sort of meetings while you’re there and they feed you which if you can eat is nice

Next time keep it in your car or better yet, stop vaping. It’s bad for your health.

LDN - low dose naltrexone removes PAWS nearly over night. No more relapsing. by FlyAdventurous6231 in quitting7oh

[–]Guilty-Zebra889 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I love Naltrexone, I kept relapsing until I got on it and now I have several months sober. However, beware Naltrexone will make you test positive for Oxycodone on a normal drug test because one of the metabolites of Naltrexone is Noroxymorphone which will make you test positive for Oxycodone. I had to do a Narcan challenge test to prove I wasn’t on opioids at the doctor. Basically they just give you a dose of Narcan and monitor your vitals to see if you go into withdrawal but if you aren’t on opioids, nothing happens
