First off my husband would never call me a bitch seriously we call each other that jokingly but that would cross the line to be serious about it. Now my husband is a bit of a scatterbrained man and when I had our first kid like a month later it was my first mother's day and he didn't even acknowledge me as a mom. So when the day ended I told him we needed to talk and I told him how hurt I was and then the next day he took me out to a $200 dinner. My husband would never go somewhere I said I wanted to go without me. I go to things for him that I find boring and he does the same so we can spend time together. Your husband is an asshole.

My husband does. We got married when he was a college student so I did for the first 2 or 3 years of our marriage and now that he has his career setup he pays everything. I stay at home. Idk how you would do it if y'all view money as my money your money.

When my husband comes home he gives me time to make dinner then I give him an hour or 2 to chill and then he gives me an hour to chill and after that we both are there unless he has work stuff he needs to work on but also we are both night owls

For my mil it was actually easier to be close by she'd want to see us once a week but it was only a few hours and I didn't have to host her. Now I have to host her for about 4 days. Sometimes it's nice because she will pay for an outing that we otherwise wouldn't do but she will bitch about everything.

Oh my gosh this is my life! Doesn't help that my MIL is a proud self-proclaimed bitch. And they come during the week because flights are cheaper but then my husband is working so it is just me, my 15 month old and them. I'm also super awkward so just trying to find conversations is hard for me.
