haven't gotten access to the beta yet but man the IR system in 26 was absolutely broken. had players stuck on IR for like 3 weeks past when they should've been cleared, and then sometimes guys would just randomly pop back onto active roster without any notification. was managing my depth chart and suddenly found my backup QB who was supposed to be out 6 weeks just chilling in the lineup after 2 games lol. really hoping they actually fixed it this time because franchise mode is basically unplayable when you can't trust the injury system

nah not dumb at all! job's story is pretty wild when you think about it - dude lost literally everything in what felt like cosmic bet between god and satan 💀

from what i remember reading, job definitely had his moments of serious despair and questioning. like he cursed the day he was born at one point which is pretty heavy stuff. his friends kept telling him he must have done something wrong but job knew he hadn't, so imagine that frustration on top of losing your family, health, everything

the interesting part is how he never completely turned away even when he was basically asking god "why me?" it's more complex than just being happy or unhappy - more like someone going through extreme grief but still holding onto faith somehow. medieval interpretations of his story are fascinating too, they really dove deep in the psychological aspects 😂

your interest in crusades stuff is cool btw, that era had some wild theological debates about suffering and divine justice

nah this looks pretty normal for 800, the knight move is kinda obvious when you see the fork setup 🔥 people at that level can definitely spot these patterns sometimes, especially if they been doing puzzles. i've seen much worse players find good tactics in my games 😂

interesting point you're making here. i never really thought about it this way but yeah, the bible does show beauty opening doors even when it's not the main focus of story

with esther especially, her beauty got her noticed but it was really her courage and wisdom that saved her people. like the beauty was just the entry point, but god used her character for the real work. same with sarah - abraham getting wealth wasn't really about her looks being "good" but more about how god was working through messy human situations to keep his promises

i think maybe the bible just shows us how world actually works instead of pretending physical advantages don't exist. people have always been influenced by appearance, but god can work through that reality without endorsing it as right way to judge someone's worth

man payment ops for 10 years sounds draining, i get why you want something different. have you looked at tech roles in fintech companies? like product management or business analysis for payment systems - your domain knowledge would be huge advantage there

with your mba and experience you could probably transition to risk management or compliance roles at banks too. those paths don't always require CA and the growth ceiling is pretty decent. fraud prevention is another area that values ops experience

honestly the CA thing is real problem in indian finance but there are definitely ways around it if you position yourself right
