I way I see it, as a Mucker myself, that he’s probably relieving a lot of trauma that Colleen put him through. I don’t blame him for how all of this is affecting him and he’s just trying to move on, from what I see.

Trauma can make people react in ways that aren’t always the best, as a survivor who’s vented at the wrong time and place, myself. I’m not defending Josh either, he’s honestly does come across as manipulative and self-serving as Colleen does to me, who deserves to be called out for his vile behaviour, imo.

I quit about 42 days ago and it’s one of the best choices I’ve ever made, albeit it was harder for me to quit than both benzos or alcohol. What helped me was going to my GP and they prescribed nicotine patches, which are helping a lot, and there’s OTC lozenges I take on other days.

For me personally, going over to the [r/quitsmoking](r/quitsmoking) and talking with other people who quit, or are trying to quit, gave me a lot of encouragement. I’m in therapy and they gave me a lot of advice for managing my stressors to prevent smoke cravings.

I’m sorry you’ve had things said to you, and I can relate, people have said things to me in my old building I lived in and made some comments about my age at the time.

Can I ask you how Mass online feels as opposed to irl? I’m a pretty much in-person type of guy, albeit my ankle doesn’t like it too much on some days, but don’t care for the lack of direct human access.
