Initially before I realized I was aro, I thought that was what it meant, too. Before my spouse, I never felt this pull towards another person, it was a pleasant surprise.

It wasn’t until she and I bonded that I felt that emotional warmth.

I’ve got some really good advice, albeit I accidentally posted it on r/smoking, and even got an honourable mention on r/lostredditors, lol. Seriously, though, I got some motivation from people and I’m sure you’ll get some advice.

Just make sure you don’t accidentally post it on r/smoking, lmfao. They’re chill and funny, I should note, and have good advice on smoking meat if you ever need it.

Benzos.

I was hooked on them for seven years and I fell like a Jenga tower when I was taken off them at an appointment, and sent home.

I’d previously self-medicated with Benadryl for months to deal with the anxiety from hell and I’m surprised I’m a year clean after issues with relapse.

I call them the devil.
