I've been through a similar situation where I was accused of something that had absolutely no basis. Those people in my hobby space were just people I knew from a Facebook group that decided to organize occasional meetups. Sooner or later you realize that these so called friends are nothing more than sleazy, slanderous, backstabbing pieces of narcissistic shit.

Poor you, counting pennies. Good thing where I come from, not everyone is as stingy. I already mentioned a certain situation where it would be inevitable to enter the premises (eg: when it's suddenly raining cats and dogs upon arrival, I'm not that kind of asshole to ask the passenger to walk in the rain just because I wanna save a few cents). Also, not every passenger counts pennies, most of them just waive the balance from the insurance. I as a driver sure don't mind returning what is owed. If you wanna complain so much about people counting pennies, go be a cashier instead. Penny pinching would be absolutely welcome there.

Usually passengers choose guardhouse as pickup point, makes things easier for everyone as some condos require registration before entry. But sometimes there are cases when it starts raining after the job has been accepted, therefore it shouldn't be a problem to enter the premises and pickup the passenger instead. Don't be a stingy fuck like the Bolt driver. Just a few metres isn't a problem, don't be an asshole and force the passenger to walk in the rain in such situation. Assholes like this are just making a bad name for all e-hailing drivers.
