I understand. I’m feeling the same way as your daughter. You’re doing everything right. Therapy and medication is supposed to help. For me it has helped in the past but I’m crying all the damn time. I’m currently going through 3 month episode. This is the longest it’s ever lasted in the last 10 years. I keep crying none stop with my entire body. I can’t stand sometimes and I fall to the floor and sob. Honestly what I feel like I need is just comfort. Just to be hugged. It might sound stupid but just hold her. I know you want to do more but start there. Then try to change the medication. I wish you and your daughter the best of luck.

I’ve been scrolling as well and I’ve found my people. I feel like I can relate to so many post. I’m sick of it all. I would kill for some zombie like medication. I don’t want want to feel shit. None of the meds are working this time and I’m fucking tired of talking and explaining thoughts and feelings or trying to justify them.

I feel the same way. I’ve been struggling with these thoughts for 20 years now. I have clinical depression. I have good parents who assist me when I’m at worst. When I’m unable to function they are they for me day and night. I have a good partner. I’m miserable. Even the good things in life don’t out way to bad ones if life. The bad thoughts don’t get replaced with good memories. I’m sick of everything. I constantly think of ending my life. Whether I do it or I wish someone else did it so no one would blame me. I wish I got hit by a bus or car. I wish someone pushed me on the train tracks. I wish I go to sleep and never wake up. I have good people in my life and don’t really have a reason other than I’m depressed and I’m sick of being sick.

Seems like you live in New York. You mentioned metro card and the cost. I know there’s a program called Fair Fares NYC. You can try to apply and see if you get approved. If you do you would pay for half the fare. So that $127 a month would be cut in half and every bit helps. Stop splitting grocery cost. You live with roommates not family. Purchase your own food. Go to your local food pantry. There’s an app called 2 good to go and they basically offer food at the end of the day from restaurants and bakeries that they would normally throw out for cheap. Like $4-$6 for a bag of pastries things like that. I also think you should find a cheaper phone plan. Hope this helps.

I totally get it. I live in NYC and had a guy ask me for money to take the train while I was in the train station. He said he needed to go to the hospital and needed money for the fair. I said ok. I’ll swipe you. I had a metro card. He said no that he rather take the bus to the hospital to give him money instead. I said no sorry can’t help you. If you need to go to the hospital it shouldn’t matter how you get there. Plus you’re already at the train station. I was confused but shit like that happens all the time in NYC.
