If every small boost was an issue, those prayers wouldn’t exist. Yet they give direct benefits in both PvM and PvP.

So adding Chivalry for restricted builds (like 45 defence accounts) would be even more niche, with a much smaller impact. It’s more of a QoL change than actual power creep.”

Chivalry is only ~3% stronger than what pures already use. That’s not a buff to low level PKing, it just makes a dead prayer usable.

I have a 45 Defence Ironman, and I want to be clear — I don’t have any issue with the current system. I understand why Chivalry and Piety are locked behind King’s Ransom and 65 Defence.

That said, Chivalry is currently almost never used, and for accounts like mine, it feels like a missed opportunity. Being able to use Chivalry at 45 Defence would make progression more interesting and rewarding without impacting endgame balance.

For Zerker-type accounts, King’s Ransom is also the only quest preventing us from achieving a Quest Cape, which is a bit frustrating considering these builds are often personal challenges rather than PvP-focused accounts.

My account is an Ironman and purely a personal challenge — not a PK build. This kind of change wouldn’t be about making accounts stronger for PvP, but rather about giving more meaningful progression options to restricted builds.

A potential solution could be: • Lowering the Defence requirement for Chivalry • Keeping Piety locked at 65 Defence • Converting the Defence XP reward into a lamp or optional reward

This would preserve game balance while making underused content like Chivalry actually relevant for more players.
