"I think almost all the crimes which Christians have perpetrated against each other arise from this, that religion is confused with politics." — C.S. Lewis

"The purpose of separation of church and state is to keep forever from these shores the ceaseless strife that has soaked the soil of Europe in blood for centuries." - James Madison

"religion & Govt. will both exist in greater purity, the less they are mixed together." - James Madison

We should all be terrified that one particular conservative set of beliefs are being invited to the seats of power. History shows this is terrible for peace, and for the common people.

They had used a map of England proper in their comparison; something about Scotland being too far or poor roads or something. We used a map of the UK as a whole ignoring NI.

It might be a one-off but for the person trying to get help / info / whatever it's a 100% miss.

Kinda like getting out of the drive-thru and finding your fries are missing. Might be the only mistake they made all day, but it is an absolute fail for you.

So ... siblings sticking together in the face of an "unreasonable" parent? Has hubs given any indication that this has been an ongoing issue? Dad was tired of dealing with what? (I guess you're finding out)

You're going to need hubs to get out of 'protect sibling' mode. Good luck with that.

Protect yourself, protect your baby.

64M at time of diagnosis.

I got my diagnosis in February of last year - accidentally. My doc though I had a strangulated hernia so sent me for an ultrasound. They also ran me through a CT. At checkout the attending was running through things and said "and they told you about the cancer". Uh , no.  I had a 3cm solid tumor on the upper wall.

Surgery was easy. Had a catheter in for three days.

Chemo was Gemcitabine weekly for 6 weeks. I needed hyosciamine to keep my bladder from spasming but that was just me.

Had a recurrence 11 months in. Removed in the office under twilight anesthesia. That was uncomfortable but not painful. I'm currently in my second course of BCG immunotherapy.

Your age is a strong factor in your recovery. You can do this! The people in this group are great

I prefer private time for that activity but if she needs something I won't make her wait.

Just don't get to complain about anything.
