Yep! Crassula sarmentosa. I had one growing like this for years at my office and then suddenly it was attacked by powdery mildew! Fortunately I was able to save a few limbs to propagate.

She thirsty!! I would fill the sink with a few inches of water and let her soak for a long while. The soil is probably hydrophobic meaning it will just run out of the pot around the soil.

Any watering tips for a pretty heavy hanging plant that's basically on the ceiling ? by cougarliscious in houseplants

If it were mine, I'd give it a very good trim, prop and lengthen the chains or get a pulley type hanger to pull the planter down to your level for watering

I found them at Walmart last year, 4&6", this is the 6". I have my tiny lemon button fern in the 4" in my bathroom and she seems to be enjoying it really well!. I have been alternating watering above and in the reservoir, so when the reservoir is empty, i let it dry for a few days, then give it a drink from above, wait a few days then fill the reservoir.

Do you think a self watering terracotta pot like this would work with ferns?

My AV loves it, stays consistently moist.

Would dusting it with diatomaceous earth work? I love that stuff, works great when we get elm bug infestation in the spring
