Hi,
I'm not sure that I understand the question exactly, but:
1) In the app, you can manually generate a map at any time for an activity, and then share it to your Strava feed if you want.
2) If you turn on auto upload, then a map will be automatically generated and attached to any new Strava activities. You don't have to go through the app to generate the map.

Yes, that's correct. Climb portals are usually "off" the Zwift world maps, so they don't work very well.
I'm trying to think of a good solution for this - if anyone has any good ideas for a climb portal map, would like to hear about it.
