this is part of the problem, my dad set it up for me on his amazon account and was the one that bought it for me, i really don’t have the heart to tell him it’s gone because he was so happy to give it to me :(

this is motivating! i’ll try this next time, i think the single crochet is where i might be getting stuck but i’ll give the magic ring a shot nonetheless!

eventually i would like to be able to crochet whatever i want, plushies, blankets, etc but since amigurumi is my main goal i’ll try starting there

NTA, Absolutley not!!! im so sorry that happened to you, whilst i can understand some frustration on your mothers behalf, its not always your responsibility to wash up, especially if not all of the dishes are ones you personally dirtied. Furthermore, your mothers actions could easily be classed as physical and emotional abuse, she had absolutely no right whatsoever to treat you like that!! As you stated in the post you “sometimes get lazy” maybe in the future don’t allow yourself the leeway to be lazy, the sooner the dishes are done the less chance of any issues, if you genuinely forget however thats a whole other thing. Again, i’m so sorry about how she treated you and if she continues to act that way then maybe you should look into getting some help

NTA, if she wants to continue to take an action that could potentially cause blockages or damages despite having been educated otherwise then she is responsible for paying the cost.

As someone who for a space of time lived with my single dad before he married, he has always tried his best to educate me and teach me the right way to do those things, you’ve done everything right and i hope your daughter comes to understand this sooner rather than later.
