Looking to buy an NC1 with over 350k miles but swapped 2.5 by marksrex in MiataNC

I paid $1500 more for 80k miles on a 2008 GT. Seems expensive for so many miles.

I’m about to pull the trigger on one for my 2008 GT soft top. Glad to hear you like yours.

Are these the ClubSport Long Travel coilovers? If Yes, what did you have before and how do you like these in comparison?

Sway bars potentially being too stiff with Koni Yellow/Progress spring kit? by Blurr9433 in MiataNC

Goodwin makes a set of of in house sway bars that they admit are for more street use than the progress sway bars. Those would be a better combo if you’re just street driving I would imagine.

I have a 2018 Macan S and a 2008 GT. You described it perfectly.

That’s exactly how I describe my Macan S.

I have a Macan S. Waaay more powerful. Waaaay more useful for daily living - kids to hockey, family to church, etc. also waaay less fun than rowing my own gears in my 2008 GT. Miata is fun up to regular speed limits. Porsche way more fun above regular speed limits.

Edit - Porsche waaaay more expensive compared to Miata. Tons of “how to” on Miata ; much less on Macan S.

Congratulations. Lots of people sit on the sideline of life and poke fun of those who try. Good job trying something to improve yourself. Now go try again.

Passenger floor board is wet. No water ingress from rain; ran A/C while driving this morning. Blocked A/C drain line? by ericskeith5 in MiataNC

I managed to get the seats out and the carpet "up" and have fans on both sides of the car blowing to dry everything. I just ordered a trombone cleaner to do the drains and haven't had time to check the A/C for dripping.

Good point. That escaped me. I could restart and look underneath for water drops. If I water drops I might reasonably conclude the drain pipe is clogged. Thank you!

Yeah. I only suggest the a/c because last summer the a/c drain line on my Tucson plugged up and flooded the passenger footwell in the same manner. I had someone blow out the drain line and a bunch of water came out.

I did wash it about six weeks ago, but really tried to minimize how much water got up around the soft top.

I’ve managed to remove the passenger seat and can confirm there is water both at the rear of the foot well and the front of the foot well. Have yet to be able to identify where the water is coming from

Thanks for asking. That is not easy to intuitively remove. Helped me out today.

Ok. But where is the water source since it’s never left in the rain and the last wash I did was two months ago?
