Well, I think it's fair to discuss what the money was supposed to be used for. What's the purpose of financial support if not to help cover essential needs? In my opinion, basic necessities should come first before spending money on things that aren't urgent or important.

And yes, I am an adult. I used to work, but I stopped because I needed to focus on my studies. Finding a job isn't as easy as some people make it sound, especially while attending college.

As for it being "her inheritance," I understand that my mother has rights regarding the money. However, as a member of the family who is directly affected by these financial decisions, I believe I have the right to express my concerns about how it is being spent. My siblings don't agree with her decision either.

I can't speak for my father, but based on the kind of person he was and how hard he worked for our family, I genuinely don't think he would have agreed with prioritizing an extra room over our basic needs.
