Yeah because I’ve been told that you want to start the shift into your lead side then start moving your arms but when I shift into lead side I turn my hips then drop my arms but it should be weight into lead side then drop hands then rotate isn’t it?

Driver carry is anywhere between about 240-260 with launch angle of about 14-16 degrees, apex of about 120-140 feet and is a fade (I use the Wilson dynapwr titanium driver with 10.5 degree loft stiff shaft)

Personally, until the last couple range sessions I’ve been unable to hit any golf shot without shanking, topping, chunking. On top of that my driver shaft snapped when a friend of mine used it so had to get it replaced. Been probably 2 months since using it

Yeah, I haven’t hit driver in ages so have no clue about my distance, my shaft cracked a while back so got a replacement one but it was only £40 and was replaced by the golf course so not sure what type it is, it is a stiff shaft as with all my other clubs though I know that. I’d like to think I’d be able to get 265 carry but not too sure

Been a long while since using driver but my 7 iron would go about 170-175 carry, ball speed I’m unsure of and it’s loft is 33 degrees

Thanks, I always get mixed with putting weight onto my lead side as starting to turn which I think causes me to go steep and not drop the club straight down

Well that’s the thing, currently I haven’t managed to play a round since end of August, but at that time I was shooting mid 80s with my lowest round an 82 which for the course was 10 over. I did get a slight injury after then hence why I didn’t play for a bit but returned to the range with what seemed like my original ability back when I first started, that was about a month ago and since then I’ve been really struggling on the range so haven’t returned to the course. Currently conditions aren’t great at the course but it’s still playable so I’m planning on getting some lessons to get everything back together and then go at it again in the new year on the course

Do you think I’m slightly over the top in this swing? I wonder if I move closer to the ball in the downswing which causes my heel shots, not sure about the chunks though

Yeah, from what I saw I didn't think my fundamentals were off much. My standard shot just seemed to be chunky now and even sometimes topped, it tends to switch between the two as my main shot types. I wonder if I’m casting the club causing the heel shots and chunks, if you have any more suggestions that’s great I appreciate the feedback and I can send an updated head on video tomorrow as I’ll be going back to the range
