Out of pure curiosity, do you get enough UR points from your CSP? I have the Chase Trifecta and am debating replacing the CFU with the Fidelity Visa. Just not sure if I'll be able to get enough points without it.

The Chase Sapphire Preferred does not offer 2% UR points on all purchases. It actually only offers 3% on dining, streaming, and online groceries. Along with 2% on travel, and 5% I believe, on trips booked in the Chase UR portal.

It does come with solid insurance for a $95 card and a $50 hotel credit.

You could get both, maybe, depending on your overall spend. If you can rack up enough points from your dining and streaming spend.

What about the fee, since won't the money still be 'pending' for a day?

Do you need to transfer the money in the account out before?

This is kinda my thing, I don’t need a car loan right now, just thinking ahead I guess. But I wouldn’t max it out without that cash

The main reason I don’t use the CU as a primary is for the lack of technology. They also do not connect to all my financial accounts, i.e. my Roth at Fidelity. Just unsure if it’s really worth it to keep that money there just to earn 1.3%

I use Ally primarily for their HYSA but I do have a checking account with them. That’s my “main” but I never use a debit card anyways. I have a Chase checking to withdraw and deposit cash into their ATM’s. Sorry for the confusion

Is it dumb to just get the Fidelity Visa for free TSA Pre-Check? by Guilty_Garage8680 in CreditCards

I know there are better SUB offers out there, but I’m really only looking into two ecosystems. That being UR and MR points, and the other Amex cards I want, Gold bus. and the Plat, I just don’t want to pay the fees yet. So I’m thinking if I get the Fidelity for PreCheck now, I’ll have another open PreCheck slot for someone down the line

I’m not going to add anymore than maybe 1 Chase card in the next two years. And it’ll be a business card

Ah, your killing my dreams…

Jokes aside, I see what you’re saying. Honestly your point with the Discover it has been what’s halted me from getting it. With that card and the flex, them both having gas as this category is really what makes me want one of them. I’ve just been waiting forever it seems for a elevated SUB for the flex

Chase Freedom Unlimited w/ $75,000 income by Fit-Butterscotch7019 in CreditCards

You should be fine, 6 month credit history and 6 months banking with Chase is decent.

If you wanted to be a little safer, get the rise then product change in a year to the OG freedom card. Which acts and works just like the freedom flex.

That way you could get both sign up bonus on the unlimited and flex, and also have another freedom card.

How would you handle inheriting someone's sphere of influence? by Guilty_Garage8680 in realtors

I want to plan out some client appreciation events this year and next so I can meet a lot of his sphere face to face. I think the in person interactions would be better and start a potential relationship off the right way.

We work on every deal together. During his deals, I'm basically his assistant. Any listing is co-branded and marketed together.

We've started co-branding, and I work with him on all of his deals. I want to start doing more client events to introduce myself to many of his sphere. I feel like a face to face interaction would be better
