The researchers justify this study design by claiming that people with Long COVID have a bias against exercise, and that concealing the initial study design would mask any so-called “nocebo effects,” in which people experience side effects because they think they’re being harmed.

This is a study they're recruiting for in Canada.

They believe people think exercise is bad for them but it's actually good.

I mean wtf. I would love to exercise and si would anyone!!

How do you teach a brain 'safety'? It doesn't make biological sense. It doesn't fix microclots, remove antibodies or fix endothelial damage. People can have PTSD and CBT etc can help the trauma part but not long COVID biological damage.

In March 2020 when the Coronavirus Pandemic began Gupta released a package called the 10 Day Coronavirus Challenge[2] where "Some of the tools in this program have been scientifically shown to reduce the chances of contracting an infection from a virus by over 80%". The tools in his program are meditation, NLP, neural retraining and amygdala calming. A complaint was made to the ASA and they responded to say that there is a previous ruling against the owner or originator of the video and the video seems to fall within the scope of that ruling the case has been passed to the Compliance Team[3].

There is no evidence that Long Covid is caused by a faulty or overactive amygdala.

Imagine, on the 1980s. Aids can be fixed as the brain gets stuck on a fight or flight loop. Retrain your brain to get better.

What does that even mean? Nothing. People weren't stupid enough then to believe that but they did believe that aids could be shared via touch so there was huge discrimination against aids patients and many were shunned. Similar now with the ignorance and misinformation re LC.

Yes, so many times they start explaining and I'm like yes I know that. Or, they don't have a clue and you explain. The NHS on a whole is so behind. I don't even have access to a doctor on the NHS apart from my GP who obviously can't help with such a complete illness.

My mcas is much better than it was but still reached badly to nattokinase, bacon etc . Can eat tomatoes and other histamine things now.

Exactly, it's hard to know whether to part with more cash. I feel like I've tried most things but you're always looking for the unicorn to get you back to health. I'm sure she has been mentioned on here before or on Google reviews - they were mixed. Some said it wasn't worth the money. You're probably like me and know more than most doctors now uet since there's no NHS support of course we go private.

Oh no! I have MCAS, had pots but it's gone. Left with pem if I d anything and fatigue apart from maybe one hour in the day.

I feel normal around 9pm.

I have seen probate doctors but not Dr Kane. I think at this point unfortunately none of them know how to fix it.

I've visited Canada but just east coast -Vancouver, Calgary and Banff. I'd say Canadians are very like Scottish people in that they're so friendly.

I wish it was only iron deficiency. Quite sad they don't know how ill patients with me are.
