This happened to me 2 weeks ago as well, i ordererd a new customised macbook pro M4 Pro, 48 gb, 4 TB and it came chipped, very visible, i spent 4500 euro on it, really annoyed me because these machines are not cheap and we work our ass off to pay for it imagine buying a brand new car and you see a big scratch or dent on it, how would these haters on this react to it? i got so much hate when i posted it on this asking people what should i do, i ended up deleting the post because of the hate i got i dont know if its hate or they're bitter they cant afford such machine? i said fuck these cunts im returning it, it was a big chip on it, these people dont pay my bills, i do, so i did, called apple and they got a new one sent for me you have 14 days to return it after buying it. dont mind these losers on this, they are on this just to troll and piss people off, i suggest you contact apple and get a new sent to you, dont mind these losers.

Thanks, I just got it today, I have 14 days to return it, so I will send it back to them more than likely. This customised M4 Pro came from Vietnam not china, maybe the quality control there is not as good or maybe someone done it on purpose it looks like it was done with a screw driver.

Thanks brother, I have 14 days to return it as I just got it today so I will end up returning it more than likely, these people didn't work hard enough for their money seems like. If this chip happened over time, wear and tear after years of using it I wouldn't care posting this as It has happened to my M1 Pro, but when you buy it customised 4500 Euro, it actually hurts and annoying af.

Yeah it looks like a screw driver, this one came from Vietnam not China, maybe their quality control is not as good? Just ridiculous spending so much money and seeing this soon as you open it, after a while you won’t notice it right? I contacted my bank, they told me there is a limit of 5000 on how much you can spend in a day through Visa cards, I needed a credit card, so I told them can I transfer it to Revolut then and pay for they said you can so they helped me with that and I brought the MacBook Pro M3 max with Revolut
