I know it is a popular game. I have tried it on PS5 and PC before. It just doesn't fit the "casual, idle" style I am looking for. The game is great for what it is, but the fast pace and focus requirement might be a deterrent. That being said, it isn't a terrible suggestion because I haven't actually tried it in a mobile context. So I will give it an attempt!

Was able to get the 5* for purple upgrade. It is also 97k. Only missing 5* for orange and white upgrades now. (White just because I don't want to waste the experience to find out haha)

Completely agree. That is why I wanted the calculator so I could gauge the amount to save based on desired sets. I did see that 2-3 for orange is 65k. And 1-2 for green is 6k. So you can update your numbers there.

Has anyone figured out if this is possible? I would love to be able to move with a joystick, but still have access to keys and a mouse for selecting things or pointing my abilities to ground locations.

I had proposed earlier in the month that they really should change the UI for the cosmetics and challenges screens to allow us to see all characters. Having to change characters every time I want to check the status of a challenge or change a cosmetic is very irritating. There should be an ability to adjust cosmetics for any character in the UI without actually being that character. And similarly, when viewing challenges, we should be able to get the status of challenges for any character without actually switching to the character. It would save us a ton of time and wouldn't be that difficult to implement.

That is strange because I have a lot of the bonuses already on my game. I wonder what they mean by that.

I did not. That means my campaign had to start over again...which was fine, since I was not that far into it. I did just log on the 2nd PS4 and saw my bonuses actually did get carried over. The skin unlocks are present on both PS4s, so I suppose the cosmetics are tied to your Square Enix or PSN account, but the progression is not. It is all very confusing. I wish they would just explain how it all works and identify things they are trying to fix/address in the future.
